OPENING: September 28 from 5 - 8 p.m.

Artists of the Lake Superior Writers and the Northern Printmakers Alliance team up again for their second exciting exhibit of poetry and prints created expressly for the event. This time, the printers offered images to the poets, who responded with their poetry. The prints will be on display with their companion  poems and the poets will read their poems at the opening. The Mood Swings will provide music. Once again, a chapbook will be published containing all the poems and prints. 

Participating artists include printmakers Joel Cooper, Cecilia Lieder, Anna Marie Pavlik, Robb Quisling, Tom Rauschenfels and others, as well as poets: Deborah Cooper, Kate Basham, Cal Benson, Shiela Packa, Tim Brennan, Ellie Schoenfeld and others. The exhibit will be comprised of more than 30 original prints and poems, varying widely in their content, media, and expression. It is a significant representation of the high quality of the work of area artists in both printmaking and poetry, and a unique collaborative effort in our region.
